EZProxy Help

EZProxy is a third party system that some institutions use to help users who are off-site access content that the institution subscribes to.

Typically, EZProxy URLs are of the form:

https://www.myinstitution.edu/cgi-bin/ezpauthn.cgi?url=%@

The first chunk (https://www.myinstitution.edu/cgi-bin/ezpauthn.cgi) points to the institution's login screen for EZProxy... (replace "www.myinstitution.edu" with the address of your institution (university, school, hospital, company, etc))

The second chunk (?url=%@) is something that is required in order to pass on the URL for the article to the institution's EZProxy system so that after login, you get taken to the fulltext page.

Each institution has a different URL for EZProxy, but they should all be similar to the format shown above.

Check with your librarian to find the appropriate URL for your institution

Note that not all institutions use EZProxy
